SERIAN: Everwin Supermarket is offering customers more choices and shopping experience with the opening of its 25th branch at Serian Bypass.

Its manager, Lee Chee Kiong said the opening of the supermarket coincided with the request of the surrounding community to make a choice and price comparison during the Christmas festive season which is just a week away.

“The opening of the supermarket is a business strategy to avoid monopoly power and the people are free to choose based on the price offer and services provided.

“The excitement of opening a new supermarket is definitely a change in the way operations are emphasised based on the standard operating procedures (SOPs). This is a new norm of life that must be adhered to in order to curb the transmission of Covid-19 and also to ensure the safety and health of customers,” he added.

Officiating at its grand opening on Friday (Dec 18) was Assistant Minister of Community Wellbeing Datuk Francis Harden Hollis.
