SERIAN: An excavator suffered extensive damage in a fire incident at Mile 56, Jalan Serian-Sri Aman, Balai Ringin today.
Firemen from the Serian station were promptly dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call at 12.21 pm.
Upon arrival, the team discovered that the excavator by the roadside had suffered 80 per cent damage, with no reported casualties.
The firemen successfully extinguished the fire using water from the vehicle’s tank, concluding the operation by 1.06 pm.
