KUCHING: Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) President, Dato Posa Majais did not deny the possibility that there will be an exchange of Sarawak players when the transfer window opens to all teams next month (April).

According to Dato Posa, such an approach may be made more likely as the last option.

“This is because we want Sarawak squad to improve their performance and shift the team’s position out of the relegation zone,” he said.

“It’s not impossible for us to change players when the transfer window opens next month, should the situation forces us to do so,” Dato Posa said.

However, he added that everything will be fine-tuned as much as possible besides holding an earlier discussion with the coaches.

According to Dato Posa, FAS does not want to delay in the planning and looking to save the Sarawak squad ‘while we are still able’.

“In terms of difference from other teams our team are not too far off. However, we need to be more firm to resolve this situation,” he said, hoping that such action could help the Sarawak squad maintain their place in the Super League next season.
