Federal minister to launch ‘Jiwa dan Kita Madani’ programme in Kuching

KUCHING: Federal Minister of Communications and Digital, Fahmi Fadzil will officially inaugurate the ‘Jiwa dan Kita Madani’ programme on May 20 at Mydin, Petra Jaya near here.

The programme, according to the Sarawak Information Department (JaPen), aims to enhance the delivery of government services through information marketing, advocacy, patriotic activities, and national initiatives.

A variety of engaging activities have been planned to enliven the programme, including the Madani Malaysia exhibition by JaPen, showcasing the concept of Madani Malaysia and its significance.

“This comprehensive initiative aims to raise awareness among the community about the concept and aspirations of Madani Malaysia, which serves as the foundation of the government’s administrative policy.”

Visitors can also benefit from exhibitions and advisory services provided by various agencies such as the National Film Development Corporation, Telekom Malaysia, Kuching Divisional Health Centre, National Anti-Drug Agency, Employees Provident Fund, Perkeso (My Future Jobs), Bank Simpanan Nasional, and MBSB Bank Berhad.

Sarawak JaPen, in collaboration with the Sarawak General Hospital Blood Bank, will also hold a blood donation drive.

The programme marks the first large-scale event of its kind, dedicated to spreading understanding and fostering a Madani Malaysia culture.

Visitors can look forward to various interesting activities, including interactive games, quizzes, and informative entertainment performances by Pentarama JaPen Sarawak artists.

Additionally, the event will feature the Pusat Maklumat Rakyat (PMR) and publicity for the 60th anniversary of Sarawak’s Independence.
