KUCHING: A compact car parked by the roadside at Lorong Tabuan Foochow 1U, was completely destroyed this morning (Nov 16).
Firemen from Tabuan Jaya station were promptly deployed to the scene after receiving an emergency call at around 10.40 am.
Upon arrival, the team found that the fire was still raging and the car was beyond saving.
The extinguishing deed was performed using water sourced from the fire truck.
No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident. The cause of the fire and losses incurred is yet to be ascertained.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team concluded the operation at 11.03 am.
