KOTA SAMARAHAN: The Healthy Malaysia National Agenda (ANMS) aims to make Malaysians, especially the residents of Kota Samarahan, healthy and prosperous.

According to local Member of Parliament Datuk Rubiah Wang, the government needs to invest in various matters including health to ensure that its people are in a healthy and prosperous state.

“This investment in health does not rest with the government alone, but needs to be done by all individuals”, she said.

She said this while officiating at the Healthy Malaysia National Agenda Tour (ANMS) at the Samarahan Division Level here yesterday.

In the meantime, she also called on all members of the community, especially those aged 40 and above, to come forward for health screening to detect non-communicable diseases at an early stage.

“This health screening does not only need to be done by the elderly, but young people also need to have a high level of awareness to participate in the health screening.
