Gravity pipe upgrading project ready soon

LUNDU: The project to upgrade the 7.6-km gravity pipe system in Kampung Raso 2 is expected to be completed within two months.

According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) report, the handover of the project under the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) worth RM200,000 between the Lundu District Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) and contractor P.M.S Aiman Enterprise was witnessed by Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang recently.

Billy then inspected the area of Kampung Raso 2 for future development projects as well as on the progress of projects implemented in Kampung Stungkor Baru.

In another development, two RTPs under the Lundu District Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) were handed over to the implementing contractors in Kampung Serayan Hilir and Kampung Paon.

The handover of the project between JBALB Lundu District engineer Awang Mohd Hafizie and two appointed contractors was also witnessed by Billy.

The two RTP projects are the gravity pipe system upgrading projects in Kampung Serayan Hilir and Kampung Paon amounting to RM250,000 and RM200,000 respectively to contractor Destisar Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Erajaya.
