DALAT: Hope Place, a non-government organisation, and the Social Welfare Department (JKM) Dalat has come forward to help three elderly disabled widows here.

They received adult diapers from Hope Place and food assistance from the department.

One of the widows is from Kampung Oya while the other two, who are bedridden, are from Kampung Medong here.

The widow from kampong Oya, who lives alone and is in dire circumstances and, at the same time, unable to walk, also received a wheel chair from Hope Place.

The contribution consists of medical face masks, hand sanitisers and PPE suits. The hand sanitisers were sponsored by the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC), Kuching Chapter.
