KUCHING: The Indian Association Kuching (IAK) remains committed to supporting the educational goals of the local Indian community.

Last Sunday, IAK organised an educational talk for Indian secondary school students at the IAK hall.

Associate Professor Dr. Soubakevathi Rethinnasamy from University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) led the session.

Many parents and students came to learn about the various education opportunities open to them.

Dr. Soubakevathi spoke about different ways to get a good education from both the government and private sectors.

A special moment during the event was the celebration of top-performing Indian students in the recent SPM and STPM exams.

These students were honoured with awards, highlighting the value of hard work and determination in studies.
