KUCHING: A 29-year-old man was nabbed on suspicion of being an illegal lottery ticket agent in an operation codenamed Ops Dadu.
Padawan police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan said the raid was conducted at a coffee shop in Matang Jaya here on Wednesday.
He added that the police also seized RM216 cash, a piece of paper with numbers written on it and a smartphone.
He said the suspect was arrested under Section 4A (a) of the Common Gaming Houses Act 1953.
