SIBU: Fifty three SMK Sacred Heart’s excellent students for Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) 2016 yesterday received incentives from the School Board of Management.
The incentive presentation ceremony was held at Hii Heng Chiong Lecture Theatre.
Treasurer of the School Board of Management, Temenggong Dato Vincent Lau Lee Ming, in presenting the incentives, said: “The presentation of the incentives is an encouragement to the students to improve their academic achievements as well as to recognise their efforts.”
Meanwhile, Form 6 Senior Assistant, Lai May Ging, who represented the School Principal, David Teo said that the incentives were given out for the second consecutive year.
“Thus, we should pay tribute to our School Board of Management for its sustained commitment and continuous support to the school,” she added.
Lai congratulated all the recipients who had achieved excellent results in 2016.
“Thank you to all Form 6 teachers and parents for your tireless efforts to help our students over the years.
“We hope these incentives will motivate more students to work harder and strive for the best,” she added.
