SIBU: The 8th Sibu International Dance Festival (SIDF) will take place from August 13 to 17 at the Sibu Civic Centre and Ku Tien Memorial Park. SIDF is dedicated to presenting a world-class celebration of the dance arts by creating timeless and adventurous productions that stimulate arts education, foster economic growth as well as unite dancers with its audiences. The festival debuted privately in 2012 at Sibu.
Four international dance groups participated in the 2013 edition of the festival, attracting groups from Lithuania, Southern Thailand, Singapore and locals. Meanwhile, indoor and outdoor performances will be held throughout the upcoming festival.
