Limkokwing University’s London Fashion Week is a collection featuring the romantic twists of Africa and Asia.

LONDON: In celebration of yet another successful London Fashion Week show, student designers from Limkokwing bowed out on Sunday, February 18, with a full-on romantic fashion spectacle.

The journey towards the showcase was challenging as the team comprising of student and alumni from the Faculty of Fashion and Lifestyle Creativity in Malaysia had to individually scourer for fabric and accessories from different parts of the world to create the unique love story spanning from Africa to Asia.

The bold designs were rich with references from Botswana, Swaziland, and Kenya to Cambodia, Thailand, China, Iran, Indonesia and the Maldives.

“Our collection was created with a special touch of uniqueness to express a feeling of romance and love through costume,” says Limkokwing University’s Vice President of Brand, Creativity and Talent Development Dato’ Tiffanee Marie Lim.

“We couldn’t be more proud to take part in London Fashion Week for the third year in a row. This showcase was a collaborative effort between our students and staff. We involve our students in these huge projects to show that we know how to build, manage and push any new idea. It is this sense of confidence at Limkokwing that makes us stand out,” she added.
