SIBU: Lions Clubs International District 308-A2 for Zone 4 has collaborated to organise a series of service activities at SJK Hing Ung at Durin near here recently.
The Lions clubs included Sibu Rejang, Sibu Pahlawan, Sibu Bawang Assan, Sibu Loving Care and Mukah.
The activities encompassed an eye protection knowledge session, eye examination and distribution of spectacles to affected students, health screening for villagers, as well as food distribution to students.

District chairperson, Dr David Ling Sien Ngan was among those present to conduct the health screening such as blood sugar and blood pressure checking.
Also in attendance were district governor Kapitan Ronny Hiew, immediate past district governor Kapitan Connie Loh Ming Hua, past district governor Datuk Betty Wong Yieng, 2nd vice-district governor Datuk Winnie Lee and district zone 4 chairperson Godfrey Ting.
