The event was honoured by the presence of Kapitan Ronny Hiew, the 308-A2 District Governor, who stressed the importance of trees in protecting the environment and the need for reforestation, ecosystem restoration, and climate change mitigation.

Regarding online bullying, he noted that it has become increasingly common in the digital world, occurring on social media, messaging platforms, gaming platforms, and mobile devices.

Hiew pointed out, “Overcoming the temptation of computer and video games is a challenging process that requires time and effort. Education on using the right strategies and successfully addressing online bullying and video game addiction can enhance students’ awareness and problem-solving skills.”

The event concluded with thanks to the school principal, Ling Sian Lung, for collaborating with the Lions Clubs in promoting the development of young people for a brighter future.

The Lions Clubs were commended for their contributions, dedication to youth development, and efforts to make the world a better place.
