KUCHING: A man has died in a three-vehicle collision involving two motorcycles and a sedan near a petrol station in Jalan Sejingkat here.
The incident took place at around 12.29 am today.
According to a spokesperson from the Malaysia Fire and Rescue Department (MFRD), firefighters had to use special equipment to extract the victim, identified as 20-year-old Raymond Chieng Wei Khang, who was found stuck under the sedan.
Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The two other victims, who were on another motorcycle, sustained minor injuries. The driver of the sedan vehicle was unharmed. The body has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
