KUCHING: The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has extended the period of the existing movement control order (MCO) affecting the southern zone until at 11.59pm on Sept 19.
The committee in a statement today (Sept 3) said this decision covers the districts of Kuching, Bau, Lundu, Samarahan, Asajaya, Simunjan, Serian, and Tebedu.
“Among the SOPs that are still enforced are, dine-ins are still not permitted.
“Business operating period for eateries to sell takeaways is is from 5am to 10pm.
“The operating hours for other businesses are from 5am to 8pm.
“Individuals or groups of individuals are not allowed to be in public places after 12 midnight without a reasonable excuse,” they said.
