KUCHING: A mechanic seriously injured both his feet – particularly his right foot – after part of a lorry fell on him while he was repairing it. The 40-year-old victim was working in a mechanic shop at Batu Kawa when the jack which was holding the lorry up suddenly collapsed in a freak accident.
His colleagues rushed to hold the lorry up and the victim was pulled out from underneath it. He was then rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital.
