KUCHING : Minister of International Trade and ECommerce, Dato Sr i Wong Soon Koh hosted a farewell dinner for the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Malaysia, H.E Dr. Huang Huikang, at Imperial Hotel here on Monday.

Dr. Huang will be transferred back to China by the end of this month after serving four years in Malaysia. According to Wong, Dr. Kuang has further consolidated bilateral relationships between China and Malaysia.

“He has brought greater cooperation and further advancement in trade and commerce, tourism, infrastructure development, education, and cultural ties, “He has al so promoted and enhanced relationships between the two nat ions. Indeed, we must put on record our dedicated profound gratitude to him for his dedicated service and great contribution,” added the Minister.

Also present at the dinner was the People’s Republ i c of China Consul-General in Kuching, Fu Jijun.
