KUCHING: The Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Ministry is committed to helping entrepreneurs in the state.

Datuk Ewon Benedick said his ministry would be working with the Sarawak government through the Sarawak Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development to develop more entrepreneurs in the state.

“Sarawak Premier has also given very valuable input to us in the ministry, especially about the development of youth entrepreneurs in the creative industry and also some youth entrepreneurship sectors in Sarawak,” he was quoted as saying in a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS).

Ewon said this after paying a courtesy call on Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today.

He added his ministry would give additional focus on Sarawak and Sabah when implementing plans and strategies for the development of entrepreneurs.

Also present was the Minister of Youth, Sport, and Entrepreneur Development Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
