MIRI: Residents in Sepupok, Niah can now have an easy access to banking services with Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) officially launching its mobile bank on the wheels today.

The services offered in the BSN mobile truck covering various types of transactions, applications and payment services benefited a population of more than 25,000 people in Sepupok.

The BSN’s mobile bank was officially launched by Deputy Minister for Women, Early Childhood and Community Development Datuk Rosey Yunus, who is also Bekenu assemblywoman, in Sepupok.

When met after the launching, Rosey lauded BSN for their effort in providing the services to the people in Sepupok.

“Prior to this, people in Sepupok had to commute to Miri which is located about one hour’s drive for banking services, which is not convenience because of the location,” she said.

The stationary BSN truck bank is operating every Wednesday from 10 am to 2pm.

Also present was BSN vice president and chief executive officer Mohd Khairil Mohd Nor.
