KUCHING: Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen was one of the mentors yesterday at the Sustainable Development Goal Workshop and Launching at the JCI Convention at USCI Hotel here.
“I shared some of my inputs and thoughts on the different presentations and initiatives of JCI members in Sarawak on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
“I was really encouraged by all the great ideas and initiatives,” he said.
Dr Yii revealed that he had also visited his alma mater, SMK St Joseph to speak with teachers on how he could better fulfil the different needs of the school.
He disclosed that they would be looking at different ways to upgrade the teaching facilities in the school to provide a better learning environment for the students.
“It is always good to be back and to give back to the school that has given me so much,” he added.
