LUNDU: Several non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and Village Security and Development Committees (JKKKs) in Lundu have received the minor rural project (MRP) grants here.
Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri presented the grants during the Program Kembara Masjid dan Surau held at Darul Iman Mosque, Kampung Sileng Melayu on Saturday (Apr 8).
Among the recipients were Masjid Darul Iman Kampung Sileng Melayu, JKKK Kampung Pulo Ayer Melayu, JKKK Kampung Sekambal Melayu Lundu, JKKK Kampung Meriyu Lundu and JKKK Kampung Sileng Melayu Baru.
In the same ceremony, the Santubong MP also presented Aidilfitri donations to Muslims community leaders (KMKK) of the Lundu district, Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tanjong Datu Branch members, including mosque imams in Lundu.
Nancy hopes that the donation can be used in the best way to ensure that the programmes for the community can run smoothly.
Also present was also Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan and Lundu district officer Gustian Durani.
