KUCHING: Two senior citizens from Kampung Muhibbah here received donations in the form of food, mattresses and wheelchairs.
Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), in a report, said Kunjan Yusop, 82, received food items as well as several mattresses, while Hasnah Wasli, 86, received a wheelchair on Jan 31.
The food items and mattresses were donated by Senior Works Minister and Petra Jaya MP Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and were handed over to Kunjan by Morshidi Said and Naz-Ismadiee Khalit, who represented Fadillah, while Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok deputy chairman Datuk Ibrahim Baki presented the wheelchair to Hasnah.
Also present were political Secretary to the Chief Minister Abdul Samad Gany, PBB Satok vice chief and Religion Bureau chairman Hilmy Othman, Satok PBB Muhibbah Sub Branch chief Ali Sujang, PBB Satok exco member Zainal Noridah and Satok PBB Muhibbah Sub Branch Women chief Faridah Lian.
