MIRI: 14 residents of a rented house in Kampung Lereng Bukit here ran for their lives when a landslide occurred in the vicinity of the building on Saturday night.

The incident was believed to be a result of continuous heavy rain since Friday night. Construction worker, Mohd Suhaili Mahrin, 27, a construction worker, said he was alerted by children playing outside his home. The incident occurred at 9pm when he was cooking in the kitchen with his wife.
