SRI AMAN: Government staff of Sri Aman must be free of corruption throughout their years of service.

Hence, the Sri Aman Corruption-Free Pledge ceremony was held at Dewan Suarag and involved 320 government employees.

The ceremony, attended by representatives from various agencies and associations, was led by Sri Aman Resident, Indir Bangai.

After the pledge, Assistant Minister of Local Government, Datu Dr Penguang Manggil, representing  Minister In The Chief Minister’s Department(Integrity And Ombudsman), Datuk Talib Zulpilip, launched the ceremony.

In his speech read by Penguang, Talib commended the ceremony, saying that similar ceremonies are being conducted by the government in all stages of administration.

“This is in line with the government’s efforts to ensure honesty and integrity at every level of administration.

“We are confident that with these efforts, the government would be able to serve the people better,” he added.
