KUCHING: 540 participants attended Sarawak Oil & Gas Opportunities Sharing Session at Pullman Hotel here yesterday.
The participants comprised representatives from 455 local oil and gas companies as well as some non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and establishments.
The event which was organised by the Oil & Gas Companies Unit of the Chief Minister’s Office together with PETROS was part of the pre-launching programme for the launching of PETROS last night.
The idea of having a sharing session was proposed and mooted by Dr Mohd Abdullah, the Special Administrative Officer to the Chief Minister.
The session covered four sessions and the presenters were Zakiyah Zakariah (Head of Petronas Vendor Development Programme) who shared on Petronas Vendor Development Programme, Jill Chieng (Sarawak’s Shell General Manager) on Shell’s activities, Joel Ling Siew Loung (Deputy Managing Director of Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd) on the journey of the enterprise’s humble beginning.
Dato Dr Ir Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah, Group Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Director of Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd shared on the company’s entrepreneurship journey from the local stage to the global world.
