KAPIT: Kapit is all set to launch the Kapit leg of GPS Flag Rally 2019 to be held today (Monday) commencing at 3.30 pm.
The welcoming reception for the Sibu entourage will be at Kapit Express Terminal to be led by Kelab Gagung Sarawak members attired in the full traditional Iban warrior’s costume.
Later in the evening is the official launching ceremony to be held at Rumah Edison Bugap along Jalan Melekun, Baleh here.
The function organised by GPS Kapit is led by PRS Youth. Expected to attend the function are all the elected people’s representatives in Kapit.
Members of the public and GPS supporters are advised to turn up in full force to attend the launch of the GPS Flag Rally Kapit leg at the said location.
Its organising committee final meeting was held here yesterday afternoon attended by all the four GPS component parties namely PRS, PBB, SUPP and PDP.
