KUCHING: Padawan police have arrested a man, aged 43 for peddling drugs under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952.
The suspect was arrested on Saturday afternoon at about 2.30 pm in a house at Jalan Stakan.
He was found to have hidden the drugs inside a biscuit tin under a coconut tree.
There were seven plastic bags containing crystal substances believed to be syabu. The total amount weight 919.75gm and valued around RM180,000 in the market.
The suspect, who claimed that the drugs were from a local supplier, had previous cases of drug possession and taking.
He was detained for further questioning.
