KUCHING: Maybank Banking Berhad senior management team paid a courtesy call to Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi (Dr) Abang Johari Tun Openg to express their support for the Sarawak 2019 Budget.
The team was led by Maybank Group Head of Global Banking, Dato’ Muzaffar Hisham who said Maybank always give their full support to the state of Sarawak.
“To portray the support for the State budget, we can play our part in terms of banking for the people of Sarawak and also to the state for the various projects.
“We have been continuing the support to the state of Sarawak state as well as to the various Sarawak companies,” said Muzaffar when speaking to reporters after the courtesy call at Chief Ministe’s Office in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Complex yesterday. He added, apart from congratulating the ambitious and surplus budget, they also reaffirmed Maybank’s commitment to the state of Sarawak.
