KUCHING: More than 1,000 runners will take part in a run which aims to strengthen the bond between the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and the community.

According to Kuching Police Chief ACP Abang Ahmad Abang Julai, this is also held in conjunction with the 210th Police Day.

“PDRM participants will take part in a 5km run that is especially for us.

“However, it will also be combined with the public who will run other categories namely 10km, 20km, and 30km,” he said.

He revealed that the race will take part on this coming 21 May at Kuching City South Council (MBKS) at 6am.

Registrations, which were opened since the beginning of the year, just closed.

This was revealed during a press conference after the monthly assembly at IPD Kuching, Jalan Simpang Tiga here yesterday.
