KUCHING: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be held nationwide starting from 13 November 2018 (Tuesday) until 13 December 2018 (Tuesday).
According to the press statement from the State Education Department a total of 36,106 students in the state have registered for the examaination.
From that total number, 33,645 or 93.18 per cent are secondary school students (SMK), while 1,063 or 2.94 per cent are private school students, and another 1,398 or 3.88 per cent are personal candidates.
All the candidates will be sitting for their examination in 275 examination centres, which include 212 secondary schools, 13 private schools, and 50 other locations for personal exmaination candidates.
Apart from that, a total of 277 area supervisors and about 2,140 invigilators have been appointed to monitor and administer the examinination process in Sarawak.
The State Education Department also reminds the student to bring their indentification cards and examination slips when sitting for the exam.
