MIRI: A 60-year-old man who is suspected of being involved in house break-in and theft cases was arrested by the road side at Saberkas roundabout here, last Monday night.
Acting on a public tip-off, a team of police led by Inspector Nasrul Hadi Jahat managed to arrest the man at around 7pm.
The suspect then led police to a house at Jalan Pujut before confiscating several passports believed to be stolen during house break-in cases.
The suspect and seized items were taken to Miri Central Police Station for further action.
The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for burglary and theft.
