MUKAH:Two people’s representatives were among those who attended the Hari Raya Aidilftri gathering held at Menara Pehin Setia Raja here last Friday. They were Tellian State Assemblyman, Yussibnosh Balo, and Balingian State Assemblyman, Abdul Yakub Haji Arbi. Hosted by the Mukah Resident Office headed by the Resident, Awang Johari Awang Mustapha, the event was held on the 12th floor of Menara Pehin Setia Raja.
Johari thanked Yussibnosh and Yakub for coming to the gathering held in conjunction with Hari Raya and aimed at fostering closer rapport among the civil servants and the community in the area. At the gathering, donations were presented to ten needy persons including the handicapped.
Among those present were Mukah Deputy Resident, Abdul Halim Abdullah, Dalat/Mukah District Council (MDDM) Walikota, Haji Kadir Haji Jamil, Mukah District Information Officer, Muhammad Alwi, local community leaders and the staff of government departments and agencies.
