KUCHING: A man was killed while two others were escaped unhurt when the luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) vehicle they were travelling in was involved in an accident at Sg Enkabang, Serian-Sri Aman Road on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Alexis Lim Kah Dee, 33.
A spokesman from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said seven personnel from Serian fire station led by Senior Fire Officer II Sim Mui Chai, were dispatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 3.59pm.
Upon arrival, they came across a body in the SUV and immediately removed it from the vehicle.
Lim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
It was believed that the victims were travelling along the road when their SUV suddenly went out of control and skidded off the road before crashing by the roadside.
Lim’s body was handed over to the police for further action.
