LUNDU: The project to upgrade the gravity water pipe system in Kampung Sebako 2 is able to provide consistent water supply facilities, said Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS), he had conducted a visit to the project site recently with the staff from the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) Kuching Division and Lundu District to check on the current situation in the water catchment area.
Through the visit, Billy hoped that the project in Kampung Sebako 1 and Kampung Sebako 2 could help increase the water supply received while waiting for treated water supply.
Also present were Kuching Divisional engineer Awang Mohd Ayatillah, Lundu District assistant engineer Awang Mohd Hafizie, Kampung Sebako 1 village chief Anil Basuni and Kampung Sebako 2 village chief Normin Sujang.
