MIRI: A bushfire in Tudan phase 5 this morning burned more than seven acres of land. It reportedly spread up to the Pujut 7 bridge.
Eight firefighters from the Lopeng fire station assisted by 10 members of Naim Land Sdn Bhd’s fire-fighting team were deployed to the location to battle the blaze.
The team arrived at the location around 8am and managed to put the fire under control in the afternoon,” Miri Fire chief zone 6 Supt Law Poh Kiong said.
