PBK Bumiputera candidates receive letters of authority

KUCHING: Parti Bumi Kenyalang (PBK) has issued letters of authority (watikah) to its Bumiputera candidates who will contest in the south zone area for the 12th State Election.

Among them who received the letters were Awang Badele Awg Ali, a retired senior customs officer for Satok; Mohamad Hamdeen Saharuddin, a businessman (Asajaya); Datuk Seri Sigamdan Sulaiman, a social activist (Muara Tuang); Atet Dego, a car dealer (Stakan); Dr Jecky Misieng, an educationist in a private institution (Serembu); Joshua Roman, an engineer in oil and gas industry (Mambong); Edison Jamang, a businessman (Tarat); and Jonathan Lantik, a retired teacher (Tebedu).

Others receiving the letters of authority were Dr Stephen Sungan, a scientist (Kedup); Edward Luwak, a retired senior government servant (Bukit Semuja); Jolhi Bee, self-employed (Sadong Jaya); Tomson Ango, a businessman (Gedong); Wan Chee Wan Mahjar, a retired senior customs officer (Sebuyau); Baha Imam, a retired senior customs officer (Lingga); Julias Leman, an evangelist (Saribas); and Mohamad Asri Kassin, a retired senior government officer (Kabong).

PBK president Voon Lee Shan said that the party shall announce other remaining candidates in due course soon.
