KUCHING: Application for admission to Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus’ will begin from Feb 26 for its foundation, diploma, degree and master programmes.

The university offers programmes in diverse areas of study, including business, computing, design, engineering, quantity surveying, science, arts, media and education.

“Last year, the university also introduced four new programmes, namely the Diploma of Digital Media Design, Diploma of Information Technology, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Diploma of Quantity Surveying.

“A range of scholarships, bursaries and financial aid options are also available to

students seeking support on financial needs.

“These include internal merit scholarships and bursaries offered by the university from foundation to postgraduate levels of study, in addition to those offered by external providers such as Yayasan Sarawak,” it said in a press release.

Swinburne added that several options for scholarships is the Yayasan Sarawak BP40 Bursary Scheme, a special bursary scheme for eligible Sarawakian Bumiputera students that allows them to enrol into their preferred programmes at foundation, diploma or degree levels with subsidised tuition fees.

“For students under the BP40 scheme, the total tuition fees at Swinburne Sarawak throughout the duration of their studies are as affordable as tuition fees at any public universities (IPTA) in Malaysia,” Swinburne added.
