KUCHING: Five hundred containers filled with delicious bubur lambuk were distributed to policemen here.
Kuching OCPD ACP Ahsmon Bajah and Persatuan Keluarga Polis (PERKEP) Kuching chairperson Emmy Suin handed out the porridge in conjunction with the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
Heads of department, police station chiefs and the media were given the porridge at a ceremony that took place at Rumah PERKEP, Kuching District police headquarters, on Wednesday (April 20).
In addition, 150 family members of policemen were also given the bubur lambuk.
PERKEP members and other police staff started cooking the porridge at 5am.
