KUCHING: Ready for it, Swifties?

American superstar and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift will be extending her concert at the National Stadium in Singapore from a three-day to a six-day event.

Initially, Swift announced the international dates of The Eras Tour, which included a performance in Singapore, the sole stop in Southeast Asia, scheduled from March 2 to 4 next year.

However, due to an overwhelming response, three additional shows have been added.

With these additional dates, the Fearless singer will be taking to the stage from March 2 to 9.

Alongside Singapore, Japan is the only other Asian country fortunate enough to be part of her world tour.

On the other hand, fans, affectionately referred to as Swifties, in Malaysia, have taken to social media to express their disappointment at Swift for having to skip Malaysia.

They have pleaded for her to include the country in her tour.

The last time Taylor Swift performed in Malaysia was during her 2014 Red Tour, marking her first visit to the country.

As for ticket prices, they will be announced soon. Fans have been encouraged to register on the Ticketmaster Singapore website for an opportunity to purchase tickets during the general on-sale.

Pre-sale tickets will be available for United Overseas Bank card members starting on July 5 at 12pm, while general sales will open on July 7 at 12pm.
