KUCHING: Bundle hunters are queuing up at the state’s largest bundle outlet which recently opened at Metrocity Matang.

The Red Bundle which started at a night market here launched its sixth and largest branch in Sarawak today (Mar 6).

“Our outlet offers more than 100 thousand branded items. The items in our store are from Japan, Korea, Australia, and the United States.

“We always restock our items every Saturday and Sunday. The price of the items can be as low as RM5,” said store manager Nur Fazmin Jamin.

The 24-year-old entrepreneur stated that the shop had opened due to high demand from customers.

“I believe that the customers anticipated the shop opening due to our items being sold at affordable prices,” she added.

A customer, Nur Khafizah Pawi said that she has been looking forward to the shop’s opening.

“I would always visit their Facebook page to get updates on when the shop will open. It is rare to see a bundle shop which is as big as this. Thank God that it launched its opening a week before I go back to Kuala Lumpur.

“I am excited to see the choices they offer in the shop. I have been to a lot of bundle shops but this is the most awaited bundle shop,” she said.

The 20-year-old bundle lover added she is satisfied with the items that the shop has to offer as the items displayed are different from other bundle shops.

Meanwhile, another bundle lover, Azizi Masihu, stated that he felt lucky that he was one of the first 100 customers at the opening of Red Bundle.

“The shop offers good quality items at affordable prices. A few years ago I noticed that Sarawakians do not support buying items in bundle shops but now looking at this shop, things have changed so much,” he said.

Azizi also mentioned that as the shop is spacious, it will make shop goers feel at ease shopping here while complying with the standard operating procedures (SOP).

“I came to the shop at 7am to queue for the opening and even though I came early, I was placed as the 67th customers lining up for the shop opening,” said the 27-year-old bundle lover.

“I feel lucky that I stumbled upon the shop opening as I get to be one of the firsts to experience shopping here,” said the 48-year-old shopper.

Muhammad Kautsar Untung who is a bundle lover said that the items displayed and the low prices are worth the long queue.

“I have been collecting bundled clothing from various shops and this shop, in particular, has a lot of good quality choices and is spacious compared to other bundle shops.

“I was the 30th customer to join the official launch of Red Bundle and to be honest, I did not expect the long queue though I came rather early,” he said.

The 26-year-old bundle lover stated that he knew about the launching from his fellow bundle lovers.

“Some items that I am buying are for myself whilst some are for me to resell,” he added.
