PUSA: Razaili Gapor has urged eligible vaccine recipients in Pusa to register themselves immediately if they have not done so.

The Beting Maro assemblyman said based on the data obtained from the manual registration process, only 67 percent of those who were eligible to receive the vaccines had registered themselves.

He pointed out that the low registration rate might affect the volume of vaccine doses sent to Pusa.

“It will be a loss if we are given a small vaccine quota just because of the low registration rate.

“Therefore, I appeal to all residents in Pusa who have not yet registered themselves to do so immediately.

“Remember, vaccines are important as they help build the body’s immunity and can help us avoid severe Covid-19 infection.

“I have also instructed the district office and health clinic to accept manual registration in the near future,” he said after inspecting the vaccination process at the Kampung Kalok Community Hall here today.

Razaili added so far there was no need for the walk-in registration process yet.

“If all those on the list have been vaccinated and there are vaccines left, then we will accept walk-in recipients.

“For now, we just need to follow the set appointments so that the vaccination process runs smoothly,” he explained.

At the event, the Beting Maro assemblyman handed out donations in the form of two laptops and two smartphones for the use of the vaccination process at the Kampung Kalok Community Hall.

The Beladin Community Hall, which officially opened today, also received similar donations.
