Kenyalang Gold Card application registration programme receives encouraging response.

BINTULU: The Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC) application registration programme organised by the Youth Movement of Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Bintulu which was held at the Spring Shopping centre here, received an encouraging response from senior citizens in the division.

Starting from Friday to Sunday, this programme is open specifically for seniors aged 60 and above.

According to a statement from SUPP Bintulu Youth Movement, cardholders can enjoy promotional rewards as well as services offered by participating companies or vendors in various related industries.

“We hope that all qualified citizens from Sarawak, aged 60 and above, come to the service counter provided at the shopping centre to register for KGC to get more exclusive benefits from it,” it said, adding that registration starts from 10 am to 9 pm.

Kenyalang Gold Card is an initiative of the state government to improve the well-being and welfare of the elderly in Sarawak.

Among KGC’s privileges and advantages are discounts on products and services for Sarawak residents from KGC’s strategic vendor partners.

It also offers compassionate assistance of RM3,000 to cover funeral expenses if the cardholder dies.
