KUCHING: The Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) will carry out repair works on a leaked main pipe at Simpang Jemukan today.
According to a JBALB statement, the repair works would be carried out from 8am to 6pm, and it would disrupt water supply in the Sadong Jaya sub-district and its surrounding areas.
“Therefore, residents of the affected areas are advised to use water sparingly during the period.
“The Kota Samarahan JBALB is fully prepared to deliver water supply to severely affected areas, apart from monitoring the situation from time to time,” the statement said.
