KUCHING: A new parish hall is set to be added to St. Paul’s Church in Roban.
This is because Krian assemblyman Friday Belik has allocated the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) grant of RM200,000 for the construction of a new parish hall.
He has allocated the Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant to Women Fellowship and Lay Reader Community amounting to RM10,000 and RM5,000 respectively.
Friday hoped the grants would enable the church to carry out more activities.
Earlier yesterday Friday attended Sunday mass at St. Paul’s Church in Roban and later also took time to join the congregation for breakfast.
