MIRI: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak, Miri is inviting children aged four to 12 years old to join in the festivities of the Sarawak Children’s Festival, scheduled for Aug 26 and 27.
This annual event, tailor-made for children, consistently draws a crowd of enthusiastic young participants, offering a range of engaging activities.
The upcoming edition is brimming with entertaining and educational activities, ensuring a fulfilling weekend for all attending children.
This year’s Storytelling Sessions will feature four specially invited storytellers who will showcase their skills at the carnival.
The line-up includes Seung Ah Kim from Korea, Muslimah Qashiratu Taqarrable (also known as Bie) from Indonesia, Sheila Wee (Sheila) from Singapore and Mohd Sharif Apen (Pak Pen Pencerita).
The festival’s activities will be distributed across 12 different spaces, encompassing areas such as Story Space, Market Space, Performance Space, Cultural Space, and more.
