LUNDU: Sarawak does not trust Malayan leaders anymore ever since the state was part of Barisan Nasional (BN) as nothing much have been done.

Santubong MP Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said that if Sarawak were to support Pakatan Harapan (PH) government, the state would suffer and never be developed.

“You can see for yourselves, they have the Petronas Twin Tower, Formula One Track, that is Sarawak’s money from the oil and gas resources,” he said during the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Flag Rally at the Lundu Civic Centre yesterday.

“What has been given back to Sarawak? Nothing. So you think they will help us if they win the (coming state) election? Don’t ever dream about it,” he pointed out.  He said Malayan leaders only visited Sarawak once in a while and never cared about the condition and situation of Sarawak and its people, especially in the rural areas.

“So now is time to forget about BN. Past is past. Now we have GPS and under the leadership of Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, who is able to bring more development for Sarawak,” he said.
