SIBU: Sarawak ICT Expo 2017 will be held at Giant Hypermarket Shopping mall, here from 28 to 30 April from 10.00am to 9.00 pm.
Computer Sales and Services Association (CSSA) Sarawak, Sibu branch vice-chairman Wong Ing Ang said during the expo over 300 items of ICT products will be on sale at a very special price and 100 items of free USB fans or USB lights will be given away.
“We have 24 booths for the Sarawak ICT Expo 2017. To date, we have 17 participants taking up 18 booths for the Sarawak ICT Expo 2017,” he told reporters at a press conference held at CSSA Sarawak, Sibu branch, Hua Kiew Road here yesterday.
The list of the participants (to-date), namely Billion Fabulous Sdn Bhd, Celcom, Classic Digital Color Photo, D-Tech OA Sdn Bhd, D-Tech OA Marketing, Hi-Tech Computer Sales and Services, Home Computers Printers Projectors Sales, Hong Leong Credit Cards, JS Solution, Micro-TM (Sibu) Sdn Bhd, Micromedia PC Station, One Solution Centre, Sibu IT Sdn Bhd, Suntech Telecommunication Co, Telekom, VMS Solution Sdn Bhd and Yakin ICT Technology Sdn Bhd.
Thus, Wong called on the public to come to visit the expo at Giant Hypermarket Shopping Mall, Sibu on 28th to 30th April as there will be a wide range of ICT products on display and bargains.
“In conjunction with the Sarawak ICT Expo 2017, we will be arranging a gaming experience in preparation for those who intend to participate in the gaming competition to be held in June 2017 in Sibu this year.”
“We will set up 10 units of gaming computers for the public to participate as a pre-launched gaming competition experience,” he said.
According to him, the gaming experience is provided free of charge to the public on the first come first serve basis.
“The games of the gaming experience are DOTA and Counter Strike. Thus, who are interested to participate, please come to Giant Hypermarket Mall, Sibu on the above dates to register for the gaming experience,” he added.
Main sponsor for Sarawak ICT Expo 2017 is Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), in which he said that TM is providing free streamyx line to gaming experience during the expo.
He said the sponsors for the buntings are Acer, Aplus, brother, RMS (Remote Monitoring System). The telcos participating in the expo are TM, Celcom, Digi, Oppo, Vivo and Huawei, he added.
