Sarawak showcases unique tour offerings at MATTA Fair

KUCHING: Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) is set to showcase a variety of tour offerings at the upcoming KL MATTA Fair from today until March 19 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) Kuala Lumpur.

According to a press release from STB yesterday, with 13 participating partners, the Sarawak Pavilion will feature aspects of Sarawak’s culture, adventure, nature, food, and festivals.

Tour packages starting from as low as RM250 for a 3-day, 2-night stay will be on offer, and STB is confident of attracting up to 10,000 visitors from the targeted 250,000 MATTA visitors over the three days.

The pavilion will also highlight Sarawak’s eco-tourism products, including the UNESCO world heritage site Gunung Mulu National Park, authentic village homestays, and Damai Beach Resort.

In addition to showcasing Sarawak’s unique culture, the pavilion will also highlight the Rainforest World Music Festival, which will be held from June 23 to 25 at Sarawak Cultural Village.

Visitors can also look forward to getting their hands on authentic handmade crafts and tasting Sarawak’s unique cuisine.
